Jennifer Lopez Looked Like a Stylish Rosebush at the 2024 Golden Globes

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are proving they could win an award for Best Dressed Couple at the 2024 Golden Globes.

Lopez looked a walking rosebush with her baby-pink gown, featuring huge rosettes adorning the off-the-shoulder neckline, which extended out into a flowing cape that trailed behind her. She paired the statement look with a color-coordinating pink clutch covered in sequins and an array of dazzling jewelry, including pink diamond drop earrings, large gemstone rings, and a bedazzled bracelet, all from Boucheron.

The multi-hyphenate and her actor and director husband have proven themselves a force to be reckoned with on the red carpet. Just last month, Bennifer attended the Elle Women in Hollywood celebration, where J.Lo caught everyone’s attention in a metallic navy breastplate, while Affleck kept things snazzy in a black tuxedo.

Despite not receiving any Golden Globe noms, it was still a productive year for Lopez, who saw the release of her Netflix thriller The Mother in May. Meanwhile, Affleck produced, starred, and directed the biographical sports flick Air, which was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. (As a producer, Affleck will accept the prize if the film wins tonight.)

Affleck talked about Lopez’s influence on Air in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last year.

“She is incredibly knowledgeable about the way fashion evolves through the culture as a confluence of music, sports, entertainment and dance,” he told the outlet. “She helped me in talking about the way in which a part of the reason why [Nike Air] Jordans were so meaningful is because culture and style in America is 90 percent driven by Black culture. Black culture has historically pioneered music, dance, fashion, and it’s then been stolen, appropriated, remarketed as Elvis or whatever. And in this case, [Nike], a white-run corporate entity, was starting to do business with African-American athletes in an identity-affiliation sales thing. They were really taking value from what Michael Jordan represents and who he is. I don’t think the meaning can be overstated.”
